Welcome, and thanks for visiting my webpage! I am a clinical psychological scientist and I study anxiety and depression. I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the San Francisco VA Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco in Dr. Aoife O’Donovan’s THRIVE Laboratory.
My research falls into two broad categories:
First, I aim to improve access to and effectiveness of behavioral treatments for anxiety and depression by (a) identifying and targeting disorder mechanisms in treatment, (b) empirically based personalization of treatment, and (c) treatment dissemination via technology.
Second, I research the link between psychological and medical illness with a focus on biological mechanisms of anxiety that increase risk for diseases of aging.
On this site, you can find more information about my education and training, papers I have published, ongoing research, and online tools I have developed for treatment personalization. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any inquiries about my work.
